Gucci Mane, Keyshia Ka'oir Preview BET Wedding Special
The big day is a month away!
Gucci Mane
and Keyshia Ka'oir are in the middle of final preparations for their
wedding, which goes down a month from now. In anticipation of their
fast-approaching nuptials, the couple have finally released a teaser
clip from the TV special that is being made about the event. The
soon-to-be Mrs. Gucci serves as the trailer's chief narrator, recounting
some interesting tidbits from their relationship, including an
off-the-wall nickname that the rapper used to call her.
According to the details that were dropped in the teaser, Keyshia Ka'oir
admitted that Gucci used to call her "banana bread." She paused after,
giving her embarrassment a moment of silence to breathe for the camera,
giving us time to hope that they expand on this and tell the full story
about how that nickname came to be, because now I'm very curious. She
continued onto some more serious personal anecdotes, talking about how
Gucci "charmed" her when they first met and definitely left a lasting
first impression. "I saw something in him that no one did," continued
Ka'oir, who accepted the rapper's proposal while they were attending an
Atltanta Hawks NBA basketball game.
Judging from the quality of the invitations they've sent out to some
of their guests, we could've guessed that this wedding was going to be a
glammed-up extravaganza and, according to the bride, that's not an
unfair assessment. She's describing her wedding as an event that will be
"over-the-top fabulous" and a "diamond-flood affair" for both her and
Gucci. The emcee is no stranger to flooding his life with diamonds
either, having recently purchased a
stunning new iced-out chain. Made by Diamond Club Miami, the total
diamond weight of the necklace is 165 carats and supposedly cost
$500,000. You know you're feeling it when you're able to drop half a
million dollars on some bling and not necessarily thing twice about it.
The
wedding will surely be the cherry on top of what has been an incredible
post-prison stint back in the music business for Gucci Mane. His probation was terminated two years early last week, which means he'll be a free man on September 19th.
