Gucci Mane & Keyshia Ka’oir’s Wedding Cake Reportedly Cost $75,000
The 10-foot, $75,000 cake also took 3 months to plan.
By now, most of you have seen the pictures or at least are aware that Gucci Mane
married his best friend & longtime girlfriend Keshia Ka’oir Tuesday
night (10/17) down in Miami, Florida. The extravagant wedding was a
star-studded affair with the likes of Diddy, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Jhene Aiko,
Zaytoven, and many others attending. The lavish wedding was rumored to
cost around $1.7 million dollars in total, some of which BET was helping
out with thanks to their new reality TV series kicking off this week.
From the $50,000 invitations to the diamond bouquet, everything was over
the top & lavish about the wedding, including even the cake. If you
jumped on Instagram Wednesday, there's a good chance you probably saw a
picture of the insanely large wedding cake, which was almost twice the
size of the ATL rapper. Well as you can guess, that cake had nothing
cheap about it.
According to TMZ,
the wedding cake took 3 months of planning and cost a total of $75,000
to create the work of art. It was done by Edda's Cake Designs and
designer Edda Martinez, which took 3 days of baking. The 10-foot tall
cake included 8,000 handmade
sugar flowers and 2,500 Swarovski crystals simply for decoration
purposes only. Meanwhile the flavor consisted of red velvet, amaretto,
carrot, banana nut and Jamaican rum cake all throughout it.
It
turns out that Edda’s Cake also threw in that sword that two were seen
on social media trying to cut the cake with. However, they could've also
used a ladder as this was one huge, 10 foot cake.
