NYC rapper Trav, who earlier this year recorded Bobby Shmurda
freestyles over the phone, is gearing up for the Dec. 8 release of his
album QRAK (short for “Queens Raised a King”) by sharing one of the
record’s big collaborations.Trav told Complex that the song was
originally intended for Meek’s use, but things changed.
We recorded this song in L.A., and Meek wanted to keep it for his
project but I was dropping sooner, so we decided it would make more
sense for QRAK,” he said. Trav also had thoughts on his collaborator’s
upcoming several-year bid in state prison.
